Current Job Openings:

As an Outside Salesperson, you will be responsible for cultivating and securing business within your assigned territory. You will regularly visit end users, distributors and specifiers, promoting Lester Sales’ vendor partners’ products and solutions. You will build meaningful relationships with vendor personnel, Inside Sales, Post-Sales Support, Directors, and Vice Presidents. You will be primarily responsible for the Opportunity Management portion of the Lester Sales Process and contribute heavily toward the Quotation portion. 

Status:  Full time 

Responsibilities: 

  • Meets or exceeds sales goals as established by Vice President/Directors 
  • Develops sales strategies and business plans that will create new, profitable opportunities 
  • Visits end users, distributors, contractors, and specifying engineers within territory in a targeted, systematic manner; produces a consistent opportunity pipeline 
  • Established and nurtures relationships with vendor’s key personnel 
  • Travels with vendor personnel in the territory 
  • Collaborates with Inside Sales to secure orders; cooperates with Post-Sales Support to resolve issues 
  • Expands product and application knowledge by participating in trainings 
  • Enhances the Lester Sales brand by presenting themself in a professional manner 
  • Implements Sandler sales skills and the Lester Sales’ process  
  • Contributes daily to Lester Sales and vendor pipelines 
  • Stays informed about competitive products and services 
  • Closes opportunities as won/lost in a timely manner 
  • Excels in verbal communication 

Skills / Abilities: 

  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills 
  • Able to present in a technical and persuasive manner 
  • Proactive and aggressively natured 
  • Experience developing and managing an outbound sales plan within a territory 
  • Proven problem-solving competency 
  • Strong organizational and time management skills 
  • Ability to establish rapport, develop relationships, and close sales   

Qualifications: 

  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software 
  • Must live in the territory for which you are applying 
  • Legally eligible to work in the United States 
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor degree preferred 
  • Five years of experience in a customer-facing sales role (business to business) 
  • Good driving record, able to meet Lester Sales driving qualifications 
  • Must successfully complete pre-employment testing

 POSITION:  This position is for a salesperson based in the assigned territory, who will report to the director or Vice President within that market. We are looking for someone who will seek out new business, someone who loves to sell products and provide solutions and has proven they can further develop an existing territory of business. This person will need to build and maintain meaningful relationships with vendor partners, our industry customers as well as be an integral part of the Lester Sales culture. 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Be humble in their approach, yet relentless in their efforts to achieve their goals.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with vendor’s key personnel. 
  • Collaborate with other Lester Salespeople in the territory to manage customer and vendor relationships, secure orders and cooperate with post-sales support to resolve issues.
  • Have the ability to absorb information around a vast number of products, services and applications.
  • Be willing and able to follow a proven sales process that may appear non-traditional.   
  • Stay informed about competitive products and services. 
  • Utilize technology to their advantage.

POSITION:  As a Contractor Salesperson, you will be responsible for cultivating and securing business within the assigned territory. We are looking for someone who will regularly visit commercial, industrial, and residential electrical contractors as well as distributor partners to promote Lester Sales’ manufacturer’s products and solutions. You will also develop and maintain relationships with specifiers to expedite the flow of project business.

  • Be humble in your approach, yet relentless in your efforts to achieve your goals.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with vendor’s key personnel. 
  • Collaborate with other Lester Salespeople in the territory to manage customer and vendor relationships, secure orders and cooperate with post-sales support to resolve issues.

Role: As an Inside Salesperson, you will be responsible for growing sales on behalf of our vendor partners and developing the Lester Sales brand among our customer base. You will work in conjunction with Outside Sales, VP’s and Directors to help customers discover solutions and deliver quotes for their product applications. You will also work with Post-Sales Support to ensure timely delivery and exceptional customer satisfaction.

Status:  Full time

Responsibilities:

  • Be effective at following the Lester Sales process to turn opportunities into quotes and quotes into orders.
  • Serve customers by answering product questions and finding solutions to satisfy the customer’s needs.
  • Actively sells complimentary products.
  • Participate in stock and project quotations; gather information to prepare the bids/buys.
  • Communicate with manufacturers to ensure proper procedures are followed and all pricing updates are in place.
  • Absorb information about a vast number of products, services and applications.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with vendor’s key personnel as well as distributor partners.
  • Utilize technology to your advantage.
