Outside Sales Representatives – 2 positions currently available:
Greater Pittsburgh area and West Virginia

As an Outside Salesperson, you will be responsible for cultivating and securing business within your assigned territory. You will regularly visit end users, distributors and specifiers, promoting Lester Sales’ vendor partners’ products and solutions. You will build meaningful relationships with vendor personnel, Inside Sales, Post-Sales Support, Directors, and Vice Presidents. You will be primarily responsible for the Opportunity Management portion of the Lester Sales Process and contribute heavily toward the Quotation portion.

Status: Full Time
Job Responsibilities:

  • Meets or exceeds sales goals as established by Vice President/Directors
  • Develops sales strategies and business plans that will create new, profitable opportunities
  • Visits end users, distributors, contractors, and specifying engineers within territory in a targeted, systematic manner; produces a consistent opportunity pipeline
  • Established and nurtures relationships with vendor’s key personnel
  • Travels with vendor personnel in the territory
  • Collaborates with Inside Sales to secure orders; cooperates with Post-Sales Support to resolve issues
  • Expands product and application knowledge by participating in trainings
  • Enhances the Lester Sales brand by presenting themself in a professional manner
  • Implements Sandler sales skills and the Lester Sales’ process
  • Contributes daily to Lester Sales and vendor pipelines
  • Stays informed about competitive products and services
  • Closes opportunities as won/lost in a timely manner

Qualifications:

  • Must successfully complete pre-employment testing

Contractor Sales Specialist:
St. Louis Metropolitan Area, Southern IL & Eastern MO

We’re looking for a competitive, passionate, and goal-oriented Contractor Sales Specialist to join our fast-growing company. In this role, you’ll be tasked with quickly and aggressively building a sales pipeline, delivering solutions to local and regional contractors, work with our outside sales team and manufacturers we represent to identify, plan, and implement training events

You must be comfortable working as a team player and possess the skills to produce sales through solutions selling. You’ll have the freedom (and you must possess the conviction) to create and implement strategies that will lead to the continued growth of our organization.

Status: Full Time
Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintain, grow, and lead contractor sales activities within our territory with a primary focus on the Metro St. Louis area.
  • Establish and strategically build a solid base of active contractor customers.
  • Set goals and conduct quarterly performance reviews with all team members.
  • Commitment to achieve maximum profitability and growth in conjunction with company goals.
  • Gain a working knowledge of and implement the established sales processes and CRM we employ.
  • Continually analyze the sales process to refine and improve its’ success, and work with upper management to establish sales reporting framework.
  • Close a high percentage of the leads that you and our team generate.
  • Strive to achieve the highest levels of contractor satisfaction in our markets.

Job Skills & Qualifications:
Preferred

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field
  • Highly personable, with the ability to quickly build relationships
  • Experience working with electrical contractors in the field or as an electrical contractor / apprentice

Required

  • 5+ years of experience managing customers in the electrical industry and knowledge of electrical products and applications

Post-Sales Support

Job Responsibilities:As Post-Sales Support, you will guide our customers from order entry through complete shipment. Your goal is to create a positive customer experience by communicating in a timely, accurate manner with customers, Inside Sales, Outside Sales, Warehouse personnel, and Directors. You will be primarily responsible for the Post Sale management portion of the Lester Sales Process.

Status: Full time

Responsibilities:

  • Enters and processes incoming customer orders in a timely manner
  • Communicates with customer on all order updates (tracking and backorders) until order is completely shipped
  • Logs all customer order updates in CRM
  • Supports inside salespeople with communication to warehouse regarding orders shipped out of our warehouses
  • Communicates with vendors to ensure proper order entry & accuracy for billing and monthly reconciliation
  • Enters and processes customer return requests or address any quality issues that need to be communicated with manufacturer.
  • Maintains up to date pricing in CRM database
  • Expands knowledge by participating in educational opportunities
  • Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; explores opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
  • Sends price increases/price files to customers
  • Answers phones and direct calls to appropriate party
  • Tracks and reconciles daily UPS/Freight charges
  • Actively promotes and onboards customer to EDI (electronic ordering)

Warehouse – Indianapolis, IN and Carnegie, PA

We are seeking a motivated, organized full time employee to work in our Indianapolis and Carnegie warehouses. The potential candidate would be responsible for performing these duties along with other daily tasks:

  • Process inventory for outbound pickups
  • Sort, organize and store inventory in correct locations
  • Stack and organize large bulk item shipments
  • Load and unload delivery vehicles
  • Maintains safe, neat and clean work environment
  • Wear the proper safety equipment

Prior forklift, order picker and/or warehouse experience is preferred but not required.  All employees will be trained and certified to correctly operate all motorized equipment.

The potential should meet these requirements and have these basic skills:

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Able to pass drug test and background screening
  • Regularly lift and/or move objects up to 60 lbs
  • Physically able to stand, sit, move, squat, walk and lift during the course of a shift
  • Must be able to work independently in a fast-paced setting while paying attention to detail
