Inside Sales Specialist

Job Responsibilities: Communicate with customers and outside sales team regarding product inquiries, quotations and orders. Meet or exceed established sales goals for each quarter / year. Acquire and expand product knowledge by attending trainings – in office (when available), online and with Lester Sales team.

Status: Full time

Location: Indianapolis, IN

Job Duties:

  • Serves customers by answering product questions; finding solutions to fit the appropriate applications
  • Coordinating information flow to and from our manufacturers
  • Confirming and entering customer orders; keeping customers and outside sales informed of order status
  • Participate in stock and project quotations; gathering information to prepare the bids
  • Communicates with manufacturers to ensure proper procedures are followed and all pricing updates are in place
  • Update product and application knowledge by participating in educational opportunities
  • Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and unusual requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments

Skills & Qualifications:
Experience with Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and Outlook. Good Verbal & Written Communication, Dependability, Attention to Detail, Organization, Data Entry Skills, Analysis, Confidentiality and Ability to Perform as Part of a Team.

The Position
The ideal candidate for our Territory Manager role will meet the following requirements:

Warehouse

We are seeking a reliable, full time employee to work in our Indianapolis warehouse. The potential candidate would be responsible for performing these duties along with other daily tasks:

  • Assist shipping and receiving unloading trucks and checking in merchandise
  • Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area
  • Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to organizational standards
  • Maintains inventory controls by collecting stock location orders, printing request, recording amounts of materials or items received or distributed through a computer. May also assist in counting of physical inventory
  • Prepare parcels for mailing and shipping
  • Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and work stations neat; Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times
  • Wear the proper safety equipment

The potential should meet these requirements and have these basic skills:

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred
  • 1-2 years previous warehouse experience preferred
  • Good communication, organizational, time management mathematical skills
  • Dependable and Reliable
  • Regularly lift and/or move objects 10-50lbs

 


 

Sales Support

Status: Full time

Location: Indianapolis, IN

Job Responsibilities:
Support inside, outside sales, and warehouse teams for customer interaction functions to include phones, order entry and warehouse transactions.

Job Duties:

  • Answer phones and direct calls to appropriate party
  • Tracking and reconciling daily UPS/Freight charges.
  • Enter and process all incoming customer orders and checks inventory as needed
  • Maintain supplies and process order when needed.
  • Support inside salespeople with communication to warehouse
  • Communicates with representative manufacturers to ensure proper order entry & accuracy for billing and monthly reconciliation
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities
  • Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments

Skills and Qualifications:
Experience with Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and Outlook. Office Experience – General, Telephone Skills, Typing, Documentation Skills, Verbal & Written Communication, Dependability, Attention to Detail, Organization, Data Entry Skills, Thoroughness, Analyzing Information, Confidentiality.
